Hello & Welcome to today’s episode of Dream Business Dream Life. 

Now, I may be the only person who decided to release a podcast episode on Christmas Day but I am a creature of habit and Wednesday is podcast day so here I am anyway.

So, I guess this is my version of the kings Christmas day speech, message, broadcast or whatever else you wish to call it.

Randon fact here…Did you know that it is 92 years since the first Christmas day speech from our monarch…I doubt I will still be doing this in 92 years but if you had asked me this time a year ago if I’d have been doing it this year, I would probably have said no so I will take that as a win either way.

Anyway, let’s get stuck into Emma’s Christmas Day speech.

As people gather to celebrate the joy and warmth of this festive season, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year that has passed, to express my heartfelt thanks, and to share some thoughts as we look towards 2025.

I also want to take a moment to send my love and thoughts to those that find Christmas difficult. Loss and loneliness somehow feels so much more intense at this time of year and it was not until we lost Becky last year that I fully appreciated this. So please know that you are all in my thoughts.

For many this year has been a rollercoaster. Full of challenges, successes, laughter, tears, and countless moments of growth.   

For me it has been no different. From hosting 2 sell out Growth events, to launching my brand-new mastermind for 2025 through to more loss and continued battles with adapting to life without Becky.

I have celebrated a special birthday quietly and seen my family grow and flourish in ways that make me smile with pride.

My business has grown, and I have welcomed numerous wonderful people into my world.  I have also allowed people to leave my world that were draining my energy as I no longer have the time or headspace for energy drainers.

I leave 2024 with a community I adore.

So I want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who make it all possible. To my incredible clients, past and present, your trust and loyalty inspire me every day. Thank you for believing in what we do and for allowing me to be part of your journey.

And to my mentors, the people who have my back, the people who see things in me I often don’t see in myself. The people who encourage me, challenge me and push me to be the best version of me every single day…thank you!

Then there is you, my community, my listeners, my followers, my cheerleaders, my support group. If you are in my world, I thank you!

Finally, my family. I am far from the perfect wife, the perfect mum, the perfect nanny but my family know I love them with every breath I take. 2024 has been another year where we have pulled together, supported each other and on occasions given each other a little ticking off too!

My family support me in life and in business and I am honoured to call them mine…I love you all.

Now of course, this year has not been without its challenges, from a shifting economy, to having to adapt to new technology like AI. 

From weather that caused chaos in many places, to illness knocking so people of their feet for weeks on end. This year we have had to show plenty of resilience and one thing it has definitely taught us is how important community is. The people in our worlds make them so much stronger.

So, as we say goodbye to 2024, I’m filled with hope and excitement for the year ahead. 2025 for me promises to be a year of collaboration, fun and growth I have some exciting plans that I cannot wait to share you in the months to come.

Whatever 2025 has in store for you, I wish you happiness, love and laughter.

But for now, let’s take this time to pause, to celebrate, and to be with those we love. Christmas is a time for connection, reflection, and gratitude and I am so grateful to share this journey with all of you.

Thank you for being part of my 2024.

And so, I wish you all a very happy Christmas.
